Midnight Madness Design Team

Guess who is one of the newest Midnight Madness Guest Design Team Members. . .

Me that's OOOO!

I have been bursting to share this incredible honor with you, and today is finally the day.  First mission: Sketch Challenge #68.  Look at the gorgeous sketches from Priscilla this week.  The sketch challenges are "YOUR PICK," so you can make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between.

So of course I went FANCY.  The digital stamp I had the pleasure of using, "Snow Goddess," is from our August sponsor Michelle Perkett Studio.  Be sure to check out her site as well as our weekly sponsor, Wags n' Whiskers.

love all the gorgeous holly on this digi-girl.  I decided to go with a soft pastel-y Christmas look for her here, although I also colored her in reds and greens and she looked amazing!  The blue background is My Minds Eye, the ornament shape of her dress is Melissa Frances (my fave) and the rest is Webster's Pages paper.

The laced up side of my card is simply eyelets, flexible jewelry wire and tiny, bitty blue seed beads.  I like how it rattles lightly as you open it.

This close up shows a bunch more detail.  The "Snow Goddess," seam binding, snowflakes, Stickles, the brown velvet flower and the rhinestone closure.  Which opens like this:

Inside the right flap the paper says, "MAGICAL" and the inside opens like this:

I really hope you decide to join in on the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week.  It's really easy to enter and the women on the design team are simply amazing.  I am blessed to be a guest in their group.  Plus, with the new sketch and all the gorgeous design team creations, Tuesdays are exciting now!!!  Hee hee!

I'm so glad that you posted the pics of this card inside and out! It is absolutely stunning like I said in the previous post. You put such wonderful detail into this beauty, and I love how it turned out! The inside is as gorgeous as the outside with those yummy papers and the great distress work!

Thanks so much for your prayers for Chelsey!!! I really appreciate the ideas to keep her busy. I'm packing a bag to take to her tomorrow and I'll be sure to include some of these. I actually have some of the games I was holding back because she was supposed to go to Afghanistan in Dec. before she found out she was pregnant. The beading will be perfect, and she already asked me to bring images for her to color for me to make into cards for Operation Write Home.

Thanks again for posting this card so I can could see what you used and how you did the inside. It's just as beautiful as your other wonderful creations here!
