Kitschy Kitchen Recipe Album ~ Part 3

Welcome to the third and final installment of my August project for the Mystic Paper design team.  Thank you everyone for the congratulations on yesterday's post.  I am still flying high on the "whoa" factor.  :)  Here are the links if you would like to go back to view Part 1 or Part 2.

I trimmed around the photo of my pretty strawberry plate and added the dictionary definition for dessert, the preserved strawberries Crafty Secrets image, and a bunch of strawberries trimmed from some G45 paper.  And of course the pretty pearls from the kit.

I found some cool buttons to match the Kitschy colors and sewed them right to the recipe card here.  I love this yellow seam binding too!

It was fun adding in all the Crafty Secrets images with my Melissa Frances kit.  I couldn't resist the pink!!  This is also a good photo to show how I did the loopy seam binding on the back of the card.

Another FAVORITE dish of mine.  This one is in my "happy place" (the corner of my bedroom, turned studio).  Also, I adore the Cherries and Yellow Checked tablecloth underneath it.  When I was taking all the pictures I was petting it and loving it.  :)

Look at this little sweetie I added adjacent to the recipe for my husband's favorite cookies.  I just knew she had to go in my book somewhere.

And finally, the inside of the back cover.  Some polka-dot Prima paper with a photo of my pretty glass on some fun red toile.  This was a wonderful project to work on, I hope you enjoyed the journey through my recipe book.  :)

Happy Friday Y'all!

I absolutely adore this recipe album! You did a fabulous job on this, and I'm sure I won't be the only one that will CASE it!

I came over here to comment on your gorgeous card made with one of Michelle Perkett's images over at MMSC. What a work of art! What fabulous coloring and I can't get over how you did the bottom of her dress!!!! Gorgeous! The bling is perfect and the beading really helps add to the softness of the card! This should be framed! I would love to see the inside...fantastic idea!
