Eat Cake & Buy Shoes

Here is the first part of my May project for Mystic Paper's Design Team.  The Prima papers in my kit seemed just perfect for a Marie Antoinette themed card.  The pop of the bright pink Bo Bunny cardstock gives it some 'oomph' too.

I was so excited to try this week's sketch #53 from the "priscillastyles" Midnight Madness blog.  They are having a blog "party" this week that has been tons of fun!

I started out creating this card as a Birthday card, but then I left the "Happy Birthday" off because really, you could use it more generically that way.  Like hey girlfriend, you had a hard day, "Eat cake and buy shoes!"  I know that's what I like to do.  In fact, the girls and I made a cake this week for no special reason at all.

OH my GOSH, I just realized we bought shoes too!  I totally didn't even think about that when I made this card.  Hahahahaha!  See, I follow my own advice.  Now Mommy needs new little strappy gold "gladiatorettes."
