Just wanted to quickly share the cover of an altered composition book I made for my dear friend Mary. We did a swap with my local scrapbook group and miss Mary requested something cute and whimsical with pink and green (and a Saturated Canary image!)
I used some of my sweetly cherished, floral-metallic-velvet wallpaper for the background, added a bit of polka-dot 7-Gypsies tissue tape and colored up a cute SC image to coordinate. I wanted to leave the cover nice and flat to allow for easy journalling (and because I just love the wallpaper, hee hee), so I left it void of any other embellishment.
You know I didn't get one single picture of the inside, dernit! :) I'll have to get Mary to post some of those for you. I sort of went crazy tinkering on this book night and day for a week. I have to say when I finally finished and gave it to her I was all forlorn without this pink and green whimsical piece waiting for me in my craft room when I wanted to sneak away to play and get creative.
